We were pleased to have another opportunity set an industry standard for our client, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of realistic fire fighting simulators and fire training systems. Our design of the company's original website-featuring sharp visual images, extensive product information, in-depth case studies, user-friendly navigation and a clean, professional look-had already helped to position them as a leading provider of live fire training systems.

Four years later, our client was ready for a new approach to corporate branding. They had grown, and they were seeking an expanded, updated web system that would place them out in front of the competition once again. Could a new design help them regain their online edge?

We began the redesign process by thoroughly reviewing the new technology and expanded product lines that have contributed to the company's outstanding success. Through discussions with the client, we developed a new corporate look, and a sophisticated new design for their second-generation web system.

We used multimedia, high-impact graphics, a modular layout and straightforward navigation to create a virtual product showroom, demonstration site and online brochure. New features of the site include:

• Fast-loading, smooth-streaming video that demonstrates fire simulators in action
• High-quality rotating graphics on home page, highlighting each product group
• Sharp product images supported by clear, concise product descriptions
• Fast, intuitive navigation that quickly displays products, services and contact information

The new site design allows our client to keep their profile fresh, by providing Client Control of Featured Products, News and Events pages. It also captures new business leads with an information-generating online Contact form.
