Villa Site Attracts Most Romantic Designation

A romance-flavoured website created by Belleville’s Snap Design has helped earn a top international tourism ranking for an exclusive Costa Rican rental property.
Last month the website, costaricahomesforrent.com, caught the attention of HomeAway, the world’s largest operator of online vacation rental agencies. The company went on to name the Manuel Antonio vacation property, known simply as The Villa, as one of the Top 10 Most Romantic Getaways from Around the World.
The property was chosen from a field of more than 95,000 listings from 90 countries, appearing in online vacation rental collections such as VRBO.com, Holiday-Rentals.co.uk., and VacationVillas.net.
Snap Design was selected by The Villa’s Ottawa-based owners in 2006 to create a high-impact website aimed at couples seeking a romantic holiday. The site showcases the property’s luxury décor, private infinity pool and lush tropical setting, and provides the owners with the ability to manage online bookings.
“Customers tell us that our website is dazzling,” says the Villa’s co-owner. "It is generating lots of business for us. Now it has earned us top recognition from the industry experts.”
